Terms of Advertisement
By purchasing advertisement space on Oriema.ng, advertisers (“Clients”) agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions, which govern all advertising activities conducted on the platform. Advertisers warrant that all advertisements submitted for publication are truthful, lawful, and do not violate any applicable Nigerian laws, including the Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON) Code of Advertising Practice, the Nigerian Consumer Protection Council Act, and any other relevant legislation.
Oriema.ng reserves the right to reject, remove, or modify any advertisement that it deems inappropriate, offensive, misleading, or in breach of these Terms and Conditions without prior notice. The platform does not guarantee specific results from advertisements, and all placements are subject to availability and Oriema.ng’s editorial discretion. Advertisers acknowledge that they bear full responsibility for the content, claims, and representations made within their advertisements.
All payments for advertisements must be made in advance according to the rates and plans outlined on the Oriema.ng advertising page. Advertisers are responsible for ensuring accurate and complete billing information. Oriema.ng will not be liable for any refunds or compensation resulting from interruptions, technical failures, or unforeseen circumstances affecting the display of advertisements, except as explicitly provided in the payment agreement.
Advertisers may request cancellation of an advertising campaign prior to its scheduled start date by submitting a written notice to Oriema.ng. Cancellation requests received after the campaign has commenced will not be eligible for a refund. Oriema.ng reserves the right to cancel or suspend any advertisement or campaign at its sole discretion, including cases of violation of these Terms or Nigerian law, without liability to the advertiser.
Oriema.ng is committed to protecting advertisers’ personal data in accordance with the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR). Information collected during the advertising process, including payment and contact details, will be securely stored and used solely for the purposes of managing advertising services. Advertisers have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of their personal data by contacting Oriema.ng directly.
All advertisements submitted to Oriema.ng undergo a content review process to ensure compliance with platform standards and Nigerian legal requirements. This review may include verification of claims, fact-checking, and ensuring that advertisements do not promote illegal or unethical content. Oriema.ng reserves the right to reject or request modifications to any advertisement that does not meet these standards before publication.
Advertisers agree not to use Oriema.ng’s platform to promote illegal activities, counterfeit goods, or content that infringes on intellectual property rights or the privacy of individuals. In case of any disputes arising from advertising activities, parties agree to resolve such matters under the jurisdiction of the courts of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. These Terms and Conditions may be updated periodically, and continued use of Oriema.ng’s advertising services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
