Terms of Sponsorship for Pitched Ideas

By submitting a pitch on Oriema.ng, participants (“Applicants”) agree to comply with these Terms of Sponsorship, which govern all activities related to idea submissions, mentorship, and potential sponsorships on the platform. Applicants warrant that all ideas and supporting materials submitted are original, lawful, and do not infringe on the rights of any third party or violate applicable Nigerian laws.

Oriema.ng reserves the right to review, reject, or request modifications to any submitted pitch that it deems inappropriate, unethical, or non-compliant with these Terms. Submission of a pitch does not guarantee sponsorship, mentorship, or any other form of support. All sponsorship decisions are at the sole discretion of Oriema.ng.

Applicants understand that any sponsorship or support provided may include financial assistance, mentorship, publicity, or access to resources, and that such support is contingent upon the evaluation process. Oriema.ng is not liable for any outcomes resulting from the sponsorship process, including the success or failure of the ideas submitted.

All participants are responsible for providing accurate contact information. Oriema.ng may communicate regarding the progress of a pitch via email, phone, or other channels provided by the applicant. It is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure that these contact details are current and valid.

Participants agree to respect Oriema.ng’s intellectual property, mentorship guidelines, and confidentiality requirements. Unauthorized use or disclosure of platform resources, mentorship materials, or other applicants’ ideas is strictly prohibited.

Oriema.ng may collect and process personal data of applicants, including contact details and pitch information, solely for the purpose of evaluating submissions and facilitating sponsorship opportunities. All data is handled in accordance with the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR).

Any disputes arising from the sponsorship program will be resolved under the jurisdiction of the courts of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Oriema.ng reserves the right to update these Terms of Sponsorship at any time. Continued participation in the pitch program constitutes acceptance of any changes.
